ironically everyone was also saying it was jacks but like im over it now I really think he wont. jay park had a completely different goal back then from 2pm anyway

i was never into 2pm what was the deal with jay (i know about his scandalous xanga that's it)

everything was blown way out of proportion but basically jay was supposed to come back with the rest, until they found out that he was searching for other companies to transfer to when he gets the chance to leave and that's when they were like "bitch u betrayed us for real we were gonna protect u and take u back youre on your own now u ungrateful swine"

was he kicked out or did he leave

he was kicked out. all his royalties with jype weren't honored as well that's why they had to make a new album that the rest of the boys rerecorded so people can use those old songs that had jay in them. basically jype dragged him to the ground because they were protecting him all along but then he was the real messy one professionally apparently it got ugly that they had to have him banned everywhere too

thats wild i became a kpop fan after that year but i always just thought of it as gay comments getting so much hate he left the group to quit the industry lol now i see i was wrong

oh damn lol i thought the whole blowback was because he called korea gay, that's interesting
didn't he go on the down low in the states for a while before coming back to korea?
wasn't 2pm in their prime at the time? or did they continue an upward trajectory after he left?

nah 2pm still maintained a lot of their relevance and had even more endorsements even after he left. it was sad tho since again and again was literally the song that made 2pm really popular actually and then the controversy happened. they were dubbed to be the next best thing to big bang and look what happened

weirdly they are. junky and jay still hang out now there are photos of them that kfans have kept and ive seen them myself but they make sure they never see the light of day since it will get messy

they don't hang out like before but they are quite friendly from what i know but junky and jay are like the best buds for sure

i remember going to korea in 2010 and literally all of korea was plastered in 2pm. they were literally the best boy group then until khun had his dui and they were shipped to japan
