tbh i've been thinking how got7 are in such a comfortable place. their peers, exo and bts, have been around longer and with got7's slower rise, got7 still feel newer. we're still getting exo and bts fans who are burnt out or tired from the drama. got7's sound has recently evolved for the better too. our fandom wasn't shaken by the debut of newer groups, nct or stray kids, and anyone debuting now will be much younger. the members are also starting to get individual activities which will help the group's exposure. jb got about 30 new fansites last year? at this point, everyone is waiting for what feb/march will bring, lead actor jinyoung's drama and this year's world tour dates
